Jakarta – PertaLife Insurance attended the Anniversary (Dies Natalis) of Universitas Pertamina and the Anniversary Celebration of the Pertamina Foundation as a form of support to strengthen sustainability synergy. This synergy is realized through the collaboration between the Pertamina Foundation (PF) and Universitas Pertamina (UPER) in providing a tangible contribution to Pertamina and Indonesia’s development. The event was held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at the Pertamina Foundation Building.
The President Commissioner and Independent Commissioner of PT Pertamina (Persero), Komjen Pol. (Purn.) Dr. Drs. H. Mochamad Iriawan, S.H., M.M., M.H., emphasized that the commitment to energy resilience and sustainability does not rely solely on technology but is determined by the quality of human resources capable of understanding, managing, and leading transformation. “PT Pertamina (Persero) reaffirms its Net Zero Emission 2060 commitment to realize clean and sustainable energy. The success of this agenda depends not only on technology but also on human resources capable of critical thinking, innovation, and responsible decision-making; thus, HR development is the primary key to long-term sustainability,” stated Mochamad Iriawan.
The President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero), Simon Aloysius Mantiri, asserted that synergy between the world of education and industry is a key factor in ensuring the readiness of future talent. “Synergy between education and industry is key to ensuring graduates are not only academically excellent but also adaptive, possess integrity, and are able to contribute directly to answering the challenges of energy transition and sustainable development. UPER has a strategic role in preparing talent relevant to the needs of the continuously transforming energy industry,” said Simon.
Martino Faishal Saudi, Marketing Director of PertaLife Insurance, who attended the 10th Anniversary celebration of Universitas Pertamina, said that PertaLife Insurance’s involvement in this synergy is a concrete step for the company to expand collaboration within the education and sustainability ecosystem. “We believe that strengthening financial literacy and life protection for the younger generation is a long-term investment to create resilient, adaptive human resources ready to face various future challenges.
