Jakarta—PT Perta Life Insurance (PertaLife Insurance) reaffirmed its commitment to providing the best protection solutions for the public through digital innovation. This was demonstrated by winning the “Best Digital Finance 2025 for Improving Digital Services to Provide the Best Protection Solutions” award in the Life Insurance category at the Best Digital Finance Award 2025 held by Warta Ekonomi in Jakarta on November 27, 2025.
This award is given to companies deemed successful in carrying out continuous digital transformation, improving service quality, and providing an easily accessible financial services ecosystem that is secure and relevant to the needs of today’s society. Warta Ekonomi assessed the digitalization of financial services companies using the Digital Maturity Assessment Blueprint (DMAB) methodology established by the Financial Services Authority (OJK), with a customer-centric orientation. The evaluation was conducted through desk research, media monitoring, and financial performance reviews of annual reports, sustainability reports, and official company publications throughout 2024-2025.
Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital, Nezar Patria, stated in his remarks that the digital economy in the ASEAN region is projected to reach US$1 trillion by 2030. “And Indonesia contributes approximately 40%, or around US$366 billion. So, of course, this is a significant opportunity and potential for all of us involved in digital finance,” Nezar stated in his remarks.
In his remarks, Warta Ekonomi CEO Muhamad Ihsan stated that digital transformation has become a key pillar of Indonesia’s economic growth, and this momentum must be strengthened continually. “Indonesia leads the ASEAN region’s digital economy at a US$90 billion value in 2024 and is forecasted to reach US$360 billion by 2030. In the financial sector, digital transactions are growing by almost 40% annually, while QRIS usage has surged by more than 145%. These figures confirm that the Indonesian economy has moved toward a digital-first model that is faster, more efficient, and more inclusive,” he said.
PertaLife Insurance’s Director of Finance and Investment, Sigit Panilih, stated that this achievement is proof that the company’s digital transformation is on the right track. “This award is a token of appreciation for the hard work of all PertaLife officers in providing excellent service. Our digitalization efforts are not merely about keeping up with technological developments but also about providing the best experience while strengthening public trust in our life, health, and pension fund management services,” said Sigit.
This award further strengthens PertaLife Insurance’s position as a national life insurance company focused on sustainable innovation, good corporate governance, and service excellence, providing added value to customers through digital-based transformation. PLI
