Jakarta, August 7, 2025 – PT Perta Life Insurance (PertaLife Insurance) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Cooperatives of the Republic of Indonesia. This collaboration represents a strategic step to strengthen protection and empowerment for cooperatives, particularly through the Koperasi Desa Merah Putih Program.
Through this MoU, both parties agreed to develop synergy in two main focus areas: the utilization of life insurance products tailored to the needs of cooperatives and the development of other business opportunities that support the welfare of cooperative management, supervisors, members, and the broader cooperative community.
“This MoU reflects our strong commitment to providing inclusive and impactful insurance protection. We believe that cooperatives are one of the key pillars in strengthening the national economy. Through this collaboration, PertaLife Insurance aims to become a strategic partner in the journey of cooperative empowerment in Indonesia,” said Hanindio W. From the Ministry of Cooperatives, Herbert Siagian, Deputy for Cooperative Supervision, expressed appreciation for the partnership. “We warmly welcome the initiative from PertaLife Insurance. Collaborations like this are crucial in building cooperatives that are independent, resilient, and competitive. We hope this MoU can soon be implemented concretely for the benefit of all cooperative members.”

The MoU signing ceremony took place at the Ballroom, 12th Floor, Tamansari Parama Boutique Office Building in Jakarta, and was attended by officials from the Ministry of Cooperatives and the management of PertaLife Insurance.
