These awards were presented as part of the Non-Bank Financial Forum 2025, which carried the theme “Pengawasan dan Pengaturan untuk Pertumbuhan Industri Asuransi dan Pembiayaan yang Sehat & Berkelanjutan,” which covers supervision and regulation for healthy and sustainable growth of the insurance and financing industry.
Hanindio W. We believe that corporate sustainability can only be achieved through good governance, relevant product innovation, and a high-performance culture that we continue to maintain. Our positive performance throughout 2024 proves that the transformation strategy we are implementing is on the right track,” said Hanindio.
In 2024, PertaLife Insurance recorded outstanding performance. Gross premiums reached IDR 1.252 trillion, surpassing the Rencana Kerja dan Anggaran Perusahaan (RKAP), the company’s work plan and budget target of IDR 1.087 trillion, or growing by 15.16% year-on-year. This performance also reflects a 38.73% increase in premiums compared to 2023, driven by optimal product expansion strategies and market penetration, particularly through annuity, endowment combined, and whole life products.
In addition to achieving record premium income, PertaLife also posted a net profit of IDR 97.18 billion, an increase of 1.09% compared to the previous year. The Risk-Based Capital (RBC) ratio increased significantly to 359.66%, far above the minimum requirement set by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) of 120%, indicating the company’s long-term solvency strength. Meanwhile, operational efficiency was reflected in the operating expense to premium income ratio (BOPO), which reached the lowest point in the company’s history at 12.19%, a significant decrease from the historical average before the transformation, which was above 22%.
Eko B. Supriyanto, Chairman of Infobank Media Group, stated that the awards were given based on the assessment of the company’s 2024 financial statements and the consistency of its performance. “PertaLife Insurance has demonstrated solid performance, both in terms of premium growth, capitalization, and service quality. Its consistency over the past five years reflects a healthy and professional business foundation,” said Eko.
Meanwhile, Ratih Triutami Wijayanti, Head of Corporate Communication of PertaLife Insurance, emphasized the importance of the award in strengthening the company’s reputation and commitment. “This recognition serves as an acknowledgment of the continuous transformation we have carried out in digitalization, customer service, and the expansion of financial literacy among the public.
