Jakarta, July 30, 2025 – PT Perta Life Insurance (PertaLife Insurance) once again demonstrated its active role in the financial industry by participating in “Ketoprak Financial – Pangeran Sambernyawa,” held at Gedung Kesenian Jakarta on Wednesday evening (July 30). This annual event brought together directors and commissioners from various financial institutions, including Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) and Lembaga Penjamin Simpanan (LPS), as well as representatives from the banking, insurance, multifinance, and capital market sectors, in a cultural stage performance. The event also served as a charity initiative, raising funds for Yayasan Anak Asuh Kita.
All members of the Board of Directors of PertaLife Insurance took part as performers in the ketoprak stage production, reflecting the company’s active involvement in fostering a collaborative, human-centered, and values-driven ecosystem within the financial industry.
The performance “Pangeran Sambernyawa” portrays the historical struggles and political dynamics of 18th-century Mataram Surakarta, featuring key historical figures such as the VOC Governor-General, Sunan Paku Buwono II and III, Pangeran Mangkubumi, and Pangeran Said Suryokusumo, widely known as Pangeran Sambernyawa. The story unfolds in five acts, depicting political intrigue, resistance against VOC pressure, and the rise of leadership values that sided with the people. Cultural and historical elements, combined with the spirit of struggle, were presented through engaging and entertaining dialogue, making the ketoprak performance not only a form of entertainment but also a reminder of the nation’s noble values.
Director of PertaLife Insurance, Alfa Niasari Utami, stated that the company’s participation reflects its commitment to strengthening synergy and social contribution within the financial industry.
“We believe that sustainability is not only determined by business performance but also by warm relationships and tangible contributions to society. Through this event, we are not only fostering cross-sector collaboration but also taking part in humanitarian efforts and cultural preservation,” said Alfa Niasari.
In line with this, Ratih Triutami Wijayanti, Head of Corporate Communication of PertaLife Insurance, added:
“Our participation in Ketoprak Financial is not merely about performing on stage but a real reflection of the spirit of collaboration and social awareness within the financial industry. Through cultural arts, we aim to convey values of leadership, integrity, and dedication to society, values that also guide us at PertaLife.”
The event was produced by Indonesia Media Network in collaboration with Infobank, Rumah Budaya Indonesia 2045, and Yayasan Anak Asuh Kita. Beyond strengthening relationships among industry stakeholders, the event also represented an innovative approach to public communication, one that is engaging, inspiring, and socially impactful.
