PR INDONESIA is a media entity published in print and digital formats (web) under PT Media Piar Indonesia. In addition to publishing news, PR INDONESIA also organizes various activities to strengthen the competencies of public relations practitioners in Indonesia, including training workshops, PR community forums, conferences, and award programs.
In the Owned Media category, PertaLife Insurance received an award in the internal magazine subcategory through its e-magazine POTRET. POTRET is the official e-magazine of PertaLife Insurance that functions as the company’s internal communication platform as well as a medium for sharing information with customers and business partners. With its modern presentation, POTRET facilitates effective communication, broadens knowledge, and fosters a sense of unity within PertaLife Insurance. As of March 2025, POTRET has reached its 40th edition.
The second award received by PertaLife Insurance was in the PR Program category, specifically the Corporate PR subcategory, recognizing the company’s implementation of a CSR program titled “Turning Waste into Blessings.” The program applies the Eco Enzyme concept, where organic waste is processed into natural fertilizer beneficial for agriculture. The initiative was implemented in Banjar Kulibul Kangin, located in Kuta Utara. It aims to provide a solution to organic waste management issues while also benefiting the local agricultural sector. By utilizing household and organic waste, farmers in Badung Regency are able to improve the yield and quality of their agricultural production while reducing environmental impacts caused by unmanaged waste.
Asmono Wikan, CEO and Founder of PR INDONESIA, expressed appreciation for the participation of corporations and institutions in the PR INDONESIA Awards (PRIA) 2025.
“PR INDONESIA would like to thank corporations and institutions for their participation in the Decade of PR INDONESIA Awards (PRIA) 2025. For more than a month, hundreds of corporations, ministries, institutions, and regional governments competed in PRIA 2025. There are ten categories contested, ranging from Owned Media, Digital Channels, Crisis Management, Annual Reports, Social Responsibility Communication Programs, PR Programs, PR Departments, Lifetime Achievement, to the Most Popular Corporate/Institutional Social Media category,” he explained. The judging process for presentation-based categories took place in a hybrid format over four consecutive days from January 7–10, 2025, involving a panel of judges including Asmono Wikan, Fardila Astari, Magdalena Wenas, Hifni Alifahmi, and Ika Sastrosoebroto.
Ratih Triutami Wijayanti, Department Head of Corporate Communication at PertaLife Insurance, expressed appreciation for the two awards received by the company. According to Ratih, the recognition reflects the company’s strong commitment to supporting community economic empowerment and environmental sustainability. “The Eco Enzyme CSR program is the beginning of PertaLife Insurance’s commitment to continue contributing to improving community welfare, not only in Bali but also in other regions across Indonesia. Recently, the conversion of agricultural land in Bali into non-agricultural areas has been increasing. Many farmers are reluctant to cultivate their land due to rising agricultural input costs and declining selling prices for agricultural products. Therefore, the Eco Enzyme program is expected to provide a solution by encouraging farmers to optimize the use of their agricultural land while increasing environmentally friendly agricultural production,” said Ratih.
With these awards, PertaLife Insurance further strengthens its position as a company that not only focuses on business growth but also demonstrates strong commitment to addressing social and environmental issues. PLI.
