Jakarta – In the spirit of celebrating the holy month of Ramadan, PertaLife Insurance held a Sinergi Ramadan (Ramadan Synergy) event featuring a religious lecture (tausiyah), donations for orphans, and an Iftar (breaking of the fast) gathering with PertaLife employees (Perwira). The event took place on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at the PertaLife Insurance Ballroom, serving as a momentum to strengthen the values of togetherness, social awareness, and the spirit of sharing within the corporate environment.
The warm gathering was attended by the board of management and PertaLife employees, with special guests from the Yatim Pisangan Baru Foundation. Beyond being a networking event, this activity serves as a manifestation of the company’s commitment to social responsibility by giving back to those in need, particularly orphaned children.
In his remarks, the Marketing Director of PertaLife Insurance, Martino Faishal Saudi, stated that Ramadan is the perfect time to strengthen empathy and faith. “Ramadan serves as a reminder for PertaLife employees to reinforce the values of integrity, togetherness, and care in every professional step. We hope Ramadan brings positive energy to improve performance and the quality of service to our customers. Through sharing activities like these donations, the company aims to foster a culture of empathy that aligns with the spirit of sustainable growth,” said Martino.
During the Ramadan lecture delivered by Ustadz Jaka Satria, it was explained that fasting holds deep spiritual meaning for every Muslim. “Fasting is a very special act of worship, as Allah SWT says that fasting is only for My servants who truly believe, those who carry it out with sincerity and full obedience. Fasting is not just about enduring hunger and thirst but also guarding the heart, mind, and behavior to remain in goodness,” Ustadz Jaka Satria noted in his sermon.
Acting VP Corporate Secretary of PertaLife Insurance, Ridky J. Sitorus, welcomed the Ramadan Synergy event as a way to strengthen bonds among PertaLife employees. “Through this donation activity, PertaLife Insurance is distributing aid to orphans as a form of the company’s care for the nation’s next generation. We hope the assistance provided is beneficial and adds to their happiness in this month full of blessings,” Ridky said.
PertaLife Insurance is committed to continuing sustainable social programs and providing positive contributions to society. Through this Ramadan Synergy event, the company hopes that the values of togetherness and compassion will continue to grow alongside PertaLife Insurance’s journey in providing the best protection for the Indonesian people.
