JAKARTA – PertaLife Insurance launched the Gerakan Sehat PertaLife Keren dan Tepat (GESPER KETAT) program as part of its efforts to maintain the health of PertaLife personnel and promote a healthy lifestyle culture within the company. The program was initiated by the Customer Engagement & Service (CES) Division and launched at the PertaLife Insurance Ballroom on Wednesday (February 5, 2025), attended by the entire Board of Directors of PertaLife Insurance.
Christina Eka Kurnia, Vice President of CES PertaLife Insurance, explained that the GESPER KETAT program aims to reduce the consumption of foods that may trigger obesity and other health problems, which could potentially affect the performance of PertaLife personnel. “This is part of a corporate culture transformation aimed at maintaining employees’ health while motivating them to adopt a healthier lifestyle,” she said.
PertaLife Insurance recognizes that dietary patterns influenced by the consumption of junk food and fast food are among the main causes of increasing obesity cases. Therefore, the company is committed to encouraging healthier eating habits. With the success of this program, it is expected that PertaLife personnel will gain greater self-confidence when interacting with customers, while also improving their work productivity.
President Director of PertaLife Insurance, Hanindio W. Hadi emphasized that health ultimately lies in the hands of each individual. “Everyone has control over their own body, and the PertaLife personnel selected to participate in this program should feel proud. This demonstrates that the company truly values its employees as important assets that must be treated well,” he said.
Hanindio also encouraged participants to maintain a positive mindset, patience, and sincerity throughout the program. “Over the next three months, we hope participants can appreciate themselves and maintain both healthy eating habits and a positive mindset. With good intentions, patience, sincerity, and consistency, I believe this program will bring extraordinary results,” he added.
The GESPER KETAT program began with a registration and selection process for participants, which included completing personal data forms, health history information, and submitting the results of their most recent Medical Check-Up (MCU). The selection process was based on health conditions, motivation, and participants’ commitment, with support from a specialist nutritionist.
A total of 12 employees from various divisions and levels—from staff to Vice President—were selected to participate in Batch I of the program. They will serve as role models in implementing the program, which includes physical data assessments, nutritional consultations, as well as meal plans and weekly assignments related to diet and exercise.
Marketing Director of PertaLife Insurance, Martino Faishal Saudi, stated that the GESPER KETAT program provides an exceptional opportunity for PertaLife personnel to receive support from the company in maintaining their health. “Not every company has a program like this. Self-discipline is the key, and support from colleagues and the surrounding environment plays an important role in achieving the targets set,” he said.
Meanwhile, Director of Finance and Investment of PertaLife Insurance, Sigit Panilih, explained that the program also serves as a challenge for those who may tend to overlook the importance of health. “With consultation sessions and team support, GESPER KETAT can run successfully and bring renewed spirit to all participants,” Sigit said.
Ratih Triutami Wijayanti, Corporate Communication of PertaLife Insurance, emphasized that through this program the company hopes to strengthen its commitment to employee well-being, create a positive working environment, and enhance overall company performance. “Going forward, the GESPER KETAT program is expected not only to provide physical benefits but also psychological benefits, allowing employees to achieve a better work-life balance,” Ratih concluded.
Through the GESPER KETAT program, PertaLife Insurance hopes to further strengthen the culture of healthy living within the company, support optimal work productivity, and foster healthier and more prosperous employees. PLI.
