Jakarta – PT Perta Life Insurance (PertaLife Insurance), a subsidiary of Pertamina engaged in life insurance, health insurance, and pension fund services, has achieved another milestone by being recognized as one of Indonesia’s best-performing insurance companies. At the 27th Infobank Insurance Recognition 2026, PertaLife Insurance secured three prestigious awards in recognition of its positive performance amid ongoing industry changes and the implementation of PSAK 117. Based on an assessment of the Company’s audited and published financial statements for the 2024–2025 period, PertaLife Insurance was recognized as one of Indonesia’s leading life insurance companies.
The three awards were “The Best Performance – In Equity Class IDR 250 Billion to Under IDR 1 Trillion,” “The Excellent Performance – For 5 Consecutive Years (2022–2026),” and “The Excellent Performance Life Insurance Company – Equity Class IDR 250 Billion to < IDR 5 Trillion.”
President Director of PertaLife Insurance, Hanindio W. Hadi, stated that the Company successfully maintained its positive performance throughout 2025.
“In the 2025 financial year, PertaLife Insurance achieved record-high investment returns and its highest-ever Risk-Based Capital (RBC) ratio, while maintaining positive net profit for six consecutive years since the Company embarked on its transformation journey,” Hanindio said.
Hanindio further explained that PertaLife Insurance has consistently pursued its transformation agenda to support sustainable business growth.
“Since 2020, PertaLife Insurance has implemented a strategic transformation agenda under the theme Transformation Towards Sustainable Growth. The transformation focuses on three key pillars: People & Organization, Business Process & ERP, and Product. Our consistent transformation efforts have become a strong foundation for strengthening the Company’s performance and driving sustainable growth,” Hanindio added.
PertaLife Insurance Director of Finance and Investment, Sigit Panilih, who attended the event to receive the awards on behalf of the Company, said that maintaining a balanced portfolio has played an important role in sustaining the Company’s performance amid changing industry dynamics.
“PertaLife Insurance maintains a balanced portfolio of long-term and short-term products to sustain positive performance. One of the products that made a significant contribution to our 2025 performance was our endowment product, which delivered a solid level of profitability and supported the Company’s overall achievements,” Sigit explained.
In addition to maintaining its strength in the captive segment, PertaLife Insurance continues to expand its non-captive business as part of its efforts to broaden its market reach. This expansion is carried out while maintaining portfolio quality and the Company’s overall financial soundness, ensuring that business growth continues to create sustainable value.
