Bali—As a testament to its continued commitment to supporting sustainability, PertaLife Insurance has again received an award from the Badung Regency Government. The award was presented directly by the Regent of Badung, I Wayan Adi Arnawa, to PertaLife Insurance for its commitment to implementing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at the Badung Regency CSR Forum Gathering at the Badung Regency Government Center on December 11, 2025.
It was awarded as a token of appreciation for PertaLife Insurance’s CSR program, which has been implemented since 2022 in Bali. Not only does it support sustainability through life insurance, but PertaLife Insurance, through its four CSR pillars (Education, Health, Environment, and Community Empowerment), has implemented several programs to support the sustainability of Badung Regency.
The Regent of Badung, I Wayan Adi Arnawa, emphasized the Badung Regency Government’s commitment to strengthening development synergies with the business community that consistently implements CSR. “On behalf of the Badung Regency Government, I extend my highest appreciation to all companies that have fulfilled their obligation to set aside a portion of their profits for corporate social responsibility,” said Adi Arnawa.
Present on behalf of management, Luh Ayu Santi Utami Dewi, VP of Operation & Claims at PertaLife Insurance, expressed her gratitude for the award given by the Badung Regency Government. “On behalf of the PertaLife Insurance family, thank you for the appreciation given by the Badung Regency Government. Through this award, we are committed to continuous contribution for sustainable development. Our CSR programs are a concrete manifestation of our support that has a positive impact on the community and the environment,” said Santi.
PertaLife Insurance’s Corporate Communications Officer, Dian Tambayong, expressed her gratitude to the Badung Regency Government for the appreciation. “This award motivates us to continue presenting CSR programs that not only align with the company’s sustainability values but also provide a real and positive impact on the community,” said Dian. He added that PertaLife Insurance will continue to strengthen collaboration with various stakeholders, particularly with the Pertamina Group, to support social development and improve the community’s quality of life.
PertaLife Insurance has actively implemented character education programs for children in six elementary schools in the Kuta Village and initiated a reading corner program to increase interest in reading. Furthermore, PertaLife Insurance is committed to environmental sustainability by providing eco-enzyme production training for communities on the Island of the Gods.
This program aims to process organic waste into useful products, provide education on the importance of environmental management, and encourage the use of eco-enzymes as environmentally friendly natural fertilizers. The use of eco-enzymes as organic fertilizers helps increase soil fertility, improves the quality of soil microorganisms, and supports sustainable rice yields without reliance on synthetic chemicals.
