West Java, Indonesia – PT Perta Life Insurance (PertaLife Insurance), a member of Pertamina Group specializing in life insurance and pension fund services, has reinforced its commitment to strengthening Indonesia’s health insurance ecosystem through the signing of a cooperation agreement to implement the Coordination Among Insurance Providers (Koordinasi Antar Penyelenggara Jaminan or KAPJ) initiative in collaboration with BPJS Kesehatan and Azra Hospital, a member of the Indonesian Private Hospitals Association (ARSSI). The agreement was signed by Alfa Niasari Utami, Director of PertaLife Insurance, during an event held in Bogor, West Java, on Tuesday, October 6, 2026.
The collaboration between PertaLife Insurance, healthcare providers, and BPJS Kesehatan reflects the Company’s commitment to supporting a more integrated and coordinated healthcare coverage system. The partnership with Azra Hospital marks an important initial step in expanding PertaLife Insurance’s collaboration with healthcare facilities while creating opportunities for future partnerships with other hospitals across Indonesia.

The event was attended by several key stakeholders from Indonesia’s healthcare and financial services sectors, including Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Budi Gunadi Sadikin, Director of Healthcare Service Coverage Abdi Kurniawan Purba, representatives of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) Board of Commissioners, and representatives from 13 hospitals.
During the event, Alfa Niasari Utami was accompanied by Tiara Dea Ananda, Department Head of Provider Relations at PertaLife Insurance.
Dr. Irma Rismayanty, MM, Director of Azra Hospital, welcomed the partnership with PertaLife Insurance, highlighting its significance in strengthening collaboration between healthcare institutions and the insurance industry. She emphasized that the initiative represents an important opportunity to enhance healthcare service quality, improve accessibility, and deliver better experiences for patients and insurance participants.

The implementation of KAPJ forms part of broader efforts to strengthen Indonesia’s health insurance ecosystem, in accordance with Financial Services Authority Regulation No. 36 of 2025 concerning the Strengthening of the Health Insurance Ecosystem (POJK 36/2025) and Minister of Health Decree No. HK.01.07/Menkes/1117/2025 concerning Guidelines for the Implementation of Cost-Sharing Payments by Supplementary Health Insurance Through Coordination Among Insurance Providers (KMK 1117/2025).
Through this cooperation agreement, PertaLife Insurance continues to enhance coordination and strategic collaboration with various stakeholders in implementing KAPJ.
